Neighbourhood clean-up sign-up sheet

Streets and spots, claimed by whoever is doing them.

A neighbourhood clean-up sign-up sheet that lists the streets, parks and paths that need doing, with how many people each needs. Neighbours claim a spot, and on the morning you can see at a glance which ones are still unclaimed.

  2. Add the detailsPut the date, the start time and the meeting point in the description.
  3. Send the linkShare it in the neighbourhood group, or print the QR code on a flyer. Nobody needs an account.
  4. Hand out the spotsOn the morning, your private link shows who has which spot.

What helps

  • Ask your city whether it lends out bags, gloves and grabbers, and whether it'll collect the full bags.
  • Children can come along with a parent; the sheet takes the adult's name.
  • Busy roads are a job for adults in high-visibility vests. Say so for those spots.
  • A photo of the full bags at the end is the best thank-you, and the best poster for next year.

Something to send with the link

Questions people ask

Can a family sign up together?
One adult signs up and says in the note how many are coming. Each sign-up takes one place, so raise the count for spots where families tend to go.
Can I add spots after I share it?
Yes. From your private link you can add, rename or remove spots, and change how many people each needs.
Do people need an account?
No. They pick a spot, type their name and press “Sign me up”.
