How to set it up
- Set the dayThe times run from 9:00 to 4:00 in hours, two interviewers each. Change them to the candidates' times.
- Say wherePut the room, or a video call's address as plain text, in “Where”, so it's on every calendar file.
- Send it to the panelShare the link with your interviewers. Everyone is asked for an email, so you can send each panel its candidate's details.
- Brief the panelUse “Tell people something” on your private link to send the scorecard and the order of the day.
What helps
- Keep candidates' names and résumés off the page. Anyone with the link can see it.
- Mix experience on each panel: ask interviewers to say their focus in the note, like technical or team fit.
- A gap after lunch gives the panel time to write up. Take that time off once the sheet is made.
- For a second day of interviews, start a new sheet from this template.
Something to send with the link
Copy it into a text, an email or the group chat, change what you like, and paste your link at the end.
Questions people ask
- Should candidates book their own times here?
- This one is for the panel. For candidates, make a separate sheet with one person per time and “One sign-up each” on.
- Why does it ask for an email?
- So you can send each interviewer the details. This template turns on “Ask everyone for an email address”, and only you and anybody helping you run the page see them.
- Can an interviewer take back-to-back times?
- Yes, as many as they like, unless you turn on “One sign-up each”.
