Christmas dinner sign-up sheet
Who brings which course.
A Christmas dinner sign-up sheet for appetizers, sides, desserts and drinks, with a count on each so the table comes together without a dozen phone calls. Put it up in November and it's full by the middle of December.

How to set it up
- Check the coursesIt starts with appetizers through to dessert, and a row for the dishes. Change the counts to how many are coming.
- Add the detailsPut the time, the address, and whether anyone has an allergy in the description.
- Send the linkText it to the family in November. Nobody needs an account.
- Check the balanceYour private link shows what's full and what's open. Desserts fill first; sides are usually the gap.
What helps
- Ask people to say what they're making in the note, so you can spot three trifles before they happen.
- A row for helping with the dishes gets the job shared rather than left to whoever's nearest the sink.
- If you're doing Christmas Eve too, make a second sheet for it rather than mixing the two.
- Next year, “Make a copy” starts a new sheet with the same courses and nobody on it.
Something to send with the link
