What helps

If there's a registry, put its address in the description as plain text, so guests can copy it.
Set “Stop taking responses after” for the day you need numbers for food.
The advice question isn't shown on the page, so guests can be as sweet or as funny as they like.
For a surprise shower, send the link to everyone but the parents-to-be, and turn on “Hide who's coming”.
