Who's doing what on the day.

A wedding helper sign-up sheet for the jobs friends and family have offered to take on, from setting up chairs to taking the flowers home. One list, claimed in advance, so nothing is left to whoever's standing nearest.

How to set it up

  1. List the jobsIt starts with the jobs most weddings hand to friends. Add your own, and change how many people each needs.
  2. Keep it to helpersShare the link with the people who've offered, not the whole guest list. Nobody needs an account.
  3. Send the timingsEveryone is asked for an email, so use “Tell people something” to send the plan for the day.
  4. Check the gapsYour private link shows each job and who has it. Packing up is usually the one left open.

What helps

  • Give the end-of-night jobs to people who aren't driving, and the early ones to people staying nearby.
  • Name one person as the contact for helpers on the day, and put their number in the email, not on the page.
  • Jobs that need a car, like driving guests or taking the flowers home, are worth saying so in the row's name.
  • Thank the helpers by email afterwards. Your private link still has every address.

Something to send with the link

Copy it into a text, an email or the group chat, change what you like, and paste your link at the end.

Thank you so much for offering to help on the day.

The sheet below lists the jobs we need help with. Pick one, or two, and I'll send everyone the timings closer to the day. You don't need an account.

Questions people ask

Why does it ask for an email?
So you can send helpers the plan for the day. This template turns on “Ask everyone for an email address”, and only you and anybody helping you run the page see them.
Can I add a job after I've shared it?
Yes. From your private link you can add, rename or remove jobs, and change how many people each needs.
Can guests see who's helping?
Anyone with the link sees the jobs and who took them. Share it only with your helpers, or turn on “Hide other people's names”.
