Choir practice scheduling poll
Find the weeknight most of the choir can make.
A scheduling poll for a weekly choir practice: everyone marks the weeknights they're usually free, and the best time comes out on top. Each one names whoever can't make it, and it's quicker than a show of hands after the service.

How to set it up
- Check the nightsIt asks about Monday to Thursday, 6:00 to 9:30 pm in half-hours. Take off any night the building isn't free.
- Send it to the choirNobody needs an account, and it works on any phone.
- Read the best timesThey show the stretches when the most singers are free, and name who can't make each one. Check the parts are balanced before you choose.
- Tell the choirA days-of-the-week poll has no date to lock in. Use “Tell people something” to email everyone the night you chose.
What helps
- Look at who's missing from each best time, not just how many. A night without any tenors is a hard night to rehearse.
- Ask singers to put their part in the note, so you can check the balance. Notes are only shown to you.
- Make sure the director fills it in first. The best time has to be one they can make.
- With a free account, a repeating practice lets singers say which weeks they're away, and lays the weeks out once you pick a time.

Questions people ask
- Can I see which parts are missing?
- The best times name who can't make each one. Ask singers to put their part in the note, and you'll see it beside their name on your private link.
- Why days of the week rather than dates?
- Because you're looking for a regular night. Singers answer “Thursdays at 7:30 pm” rather than one particular Thursday.
- Can I lock in the night?
- Not on a days-of-the-week poll, because there's no date. Close it and tell everyone the night with “Tell people something”.
