How to set it up

  1. List the jobsIt starts with the jobs most buildings need. Change the counts, and add any yours has, like the steeple or the parking lot.
  2. Add the detailsPut the date, the start time, and what to bring in the description: gloves, a ladder, a truck for the dump run.
  3. Send the linkShare it in the weekly email and the bulletin. Nobody needs an account.
  4. Plan the morningYour private link lists every job and who's on it, so you can hand out supplies as people arrive.

What helps

  • Ask people with a truck or a long ladder to say so in their note. Those make whole jobs possible.
  • Gutters and ladders want two people. Keep a count of at least two on anything off the ground.
  • Lunch keeps people there until the end. A row for it gets it covered.
  • Young people can help alongside a parent; the sheet takes the adult's name.

Something to send with the link

Questions people ask

Can someone sign up for two jobs?
Yes. They can pick several at once, unless you turn on “One sign-up each”.
Can I add jobs later?
Yes. From your private link you can add, rename or reorder jobs, and change how many people each needs.
Can families with young people come?
Yes. A parent signs up under their own name and brings them along. Pages for a faith group take adults' names only.
